Several Guinean students live far distances from their schools and must walk 3 or more miles to and from school each way. Most villages in Guinea have an elementary school and the nearest middle and/or high school may be miles away and can be a deterrent for the student to continue his/her education at the next level particularly girls students. By providing students with a means of transportation to get to and from school we hope to reduce their travel time and to lessen their travel stress significantly, which ultimately make them better prepared for learning and this can have a positive ripple effect on the students' education.

From driverless cars to fully autonomous factories, technology is rapidly changing the world as we know it. It is of utmost importance that we ensure the readiness of today’s students for these upcoming technological changes. GAED strives to close this technology gap amongst college students in Guinea by ensuring that every public University is equipped with computers and internet to allow the hundreds of thousands of students to conduct research online and connect with the rest of the globe.
