The Guinean Alliance for Education and development (GAED) will provide two categories of scholarships to high performing and promising students to attend schools and universities in Guinea and around the world: 1) Scholarship to study abroad will be awarded to eligible: a) Students who score among the top 10% in Guinea’s national high school exam in the different field options. b) Students of Guinean Descent living abroad, enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education 2) Scholarships to study within Guinea, will be awarded to eligible high performing and promising students.

The YCN aims to coach, inform, motivate, support, and remove barriers in connecting youth to necessary resources and information to help them prepare for a successful career. Objectives: 1. To expose youth to various careers and experienced professionals 2. To get them engaged and prepared to explore career options 3. To provide resources about fields of interest to youth 4. To equip them with enough information to help them in their career decision making

The Guinean Diaspora Business and Professionals Network was established in order to connect and provide resources for the Guinean Diaspora and Businesses serving the Guinean Community across the globe. Objectives: 1. To facilitate the location of resources for businesses intending to serve the Guinean Community 2. To facilitate the location of qualified Guinean Professionals for various roles and services 3. To build an active and resourceful network of Businesses and Professionals across various sectors of the economy and around the globe

School Supplies- In an effort to support Guinean students and their educational needs the Alliance will accept donations of general school supplies. However, we would, in the meantime prefer to receive funds and buy these school supplies in Guinea as we are yet to build the logistics to be able to handle shipping and other related cost of gathering these items and shipping them to our target students.

From driverless cars to fully autonomous factories, technology is rapidly changing the world as we know it. It is of utmost importance that we ensure the readiness of today’s students for these upcoming technological changes. GAED strives to close this technology gap amongst college students in Guinea by ensuring that every public University is equipped with computers and internet to allow the hundreds of thousands of students to conduct research online and connect with the rest of the globe.
