Our Work.

What We Do

We empower Guinean youth, irrespective of their background or circumstances, with equitable access to quality education, so they can pursue their dreams, build a better life, and develop their nation.

Transforming lives through
equitable access to quality education.

At GAED, we’re passionate about transforming lives through education. Our mission is to ensure that every student, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Here’s how we make that happen:

Scholarships

We believe that financial barriers should never stand in the way of education. Our scholarship program provides deserving students with the funding they need to cover tuition, books, supplies, and other essential expenses. By alleviating these financial burdens, we empower students to focus on their studies and achieve their academic goals.

Academic Resources

Having the right tools is crucial for academic success. We provide students with computers, bicycles, and essential school supplies, from backpacks filled with notebooks and pens to state-of-the-art laptops. These resources help students stay organized, complete their assignments, and engage fully in their education.

Peer Mentoring

Navigating school can be challenging, but with the right support, students can excel. Our peer mentoring program pairs students with mentors who offer support, guidance, and encouragement. These mentors share their experiences, help with tricky assignments, and celebrate successes, fostering a sense of community and belonging.

Career Mentoring

Preparing for the future is just as important as succeeding in school. Our career mentoring program connects students with seasoned professionals who provide valuable insights, resume tips, interview tricks, and career advice. These mentors help students unlock their potential and pave the way for successful careers.
